Chocolate Chip Cookies

About the Recipe

Chocolate chip cookies are among the favorite of desserts and snacks. There is nothing more satisfying than a warm, fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies, straight out of the oven, with a tall, cold glass of California Sunshine milk!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • ¾ cup firmly packed brown sugar

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

  • ½ teaspoon California Sunshine milk

  • 2 California Sunshine eggs

  • 2 cups flour, unsifted

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 package (12 oz.) Baker’s semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped (Optional, see note below)

Preparation

Step 1


Beat butter, sugars, vanilla, milk and eggs, until light and fluffy.



Step 2


Mix together flour, baking Chocolate chip cookies are soda and salt. Blend into butter mixture.



Step 3


Stir in chips and walnuts (See note below).


Step 4


Drop from teaspoon, 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.


Step 5


Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown.


Note

 • If omitting walnuts, add 1–2 tablespoons of flour.
